Jarvis grew in CBH also known as the Christian Brotherhood. CBH was notoriously known as one of the roughest neighborhoods in Jackson.  Growing up, Jarvis struggled to make school a priority and he found himself in trouble with the law. Eventually, Jarvis was sentenced to 15 years in jail for armed robbery. While at Walnut Grove Correctional Facility, Jarvis learned the true meaning of hope and second chances.
